Glimpses of summer

Summer is flying by. I'm trying hard to enjoy all the fun moments but might I add that there are only 7 weeks left. Yippy yahoo, hurray! I love my little family.

Things selfish moments I am looking forward to:
I want my house back.
I want my nap time back.
A house that will stay clean for longer.
Running errands with fewer kids.
Taking a shower w/o a knock at the door.
A set schedule.

Things that I will miss.
Older kids that help with the babies.
Homemade ice cream.
Wonderful weather.
Grilling almost every day.
A flexible schedule.

I feel the exact same way. We only have 6 weeks (+ 1 day) left and I'm so sad about that but at the same time I'm so excited to for all the same things you are. I used to feel like a bad mom for wanting the kids to be away during the day but I realize I'm a much better mom when I get that nap :)

You are too funny. I don't have older kids yet so I don't know what it's like to ever have the house alone..... Side note. We live in ID. We should definitely get together sometime in SLC. McKenzi

I love your pictures. Is that really Hazel? You have GOT to be kidding me. Can you stop her from growing any more until we can get there? No fair.... we are missing too many moments.

Love you guys.

P.S. I stopped answering my door to impromptu visitors. Unless I am expecting someone, my house is a disaster. I too, very much blame Summertime. How many more weeks?
