You're Joking Right?
While I was pregnant I kept complaining of tooth aches. I didn't worry too much about it though because I know tooth sensitivities are very normal when pregnant. I decided to take the plunge and make an appointment anyway. 13 cavities. Are you kidding? I'm neurotic when it comes to brushing teeth. I even make my 3 year old floss teeth that don't even touch. I still wear my retainers from when I had my braces taken off my freshmen year of high school. I don't mean occasionally either. I can count on one hand the number of times I haven't worn my retainers to bed. You get it, I take care of my teeth, but apparently it isn't enough, especially when you have pregnancy working against you. I'm going to become OCD about it now, I'm sure. Also, I just guaranteed that that dental office will not go under for another 2 months thanks to my own personal stimulus package.

So Sorry! It goes with the territory.
bummer. noone else in your fam has cavities?
All I can say is bzzzzz, bzzzzz, drrrrill, drrrill! I'm so sorry :(
ok, that terrifies me - i haven't been to the dentist in like 5 years! what will they find when i do go???
13!!! I have heard that pregnancy can do basically anything under the sun to your body, I guess this just falls under that category. I am so sorry for you. I absolutely hate having cavities filled.
Oh,soooo sorry! My last cavity experience was pretty unpleasant and it was just one! Good luck...
your fam i brutal... i feel your pain. i am in your same boat.
and thanks for letting us come visit. it was so fun to see you and your cute family. thanks for lunch too. i hope we can see each other again in may.
may 28th-june 1st
I am so sorry.
I had bone loss while pregnant with Hannah which caused my two front teeth to gap. I developed quite a complex, even after I got it "fixed".
Oh, sadness. Especially for someone as diligent as you. I heard that you give up a tooth per pregnancy...but 13?
oh dear. what are the chances that I would decide to read this on the very day that I am going to the dentist for the first time in 3 years??!
Here's sick and gross for ya....I can actually SEE a brown spot on my back tooth. Talk about WT!
I am not hopeful about today's outlook!
13 cavities...that's gotta be a record! haha!
At least you were brave enough to schedule an appointment. I swallowed something crunchy while eating my soft-boiled egg last week and later discovered it was a piece of my back molar... Yes, I'm too afraid to face the music and see what else is wrong with my postpartum teeth. Good for you.
Oh man, I'm afraid to go to the dentist now!
Hey Sharalee,
I just read your last comment! Sorry it took me so long to write back. Anyway, Easter was great with a very short, but pleasing to Tristan egg hunt. How did your kids enjoy Easter? Our house is coming along and should be done soon...hopefully sooner than later. Living with my parents is much fun :) I think Tristan would love to play with Rosie over at Michelle's. He is soooo bored during the day, I feel bad for the kid. Anytime you want, give us a call at 801-995-3286.

I feel for you. I've been putting off the dentist long enough. I think I better go in. Now I'm afraid. Really afraid.
