I'd like to think that I have married the perfect man, one who has amazing insights regarding my own needs and inner desires, and yet sometimes even he falls victim to unrealistic perceptions of what reality is. 1st unrealistic expectation is that I be on time to everything. Ha what a joke. I'm usually putting on makeup last or finishing up my hair, and he is sweet enough to say it was worth the wait. But in quiet moments he wants to know why I always need an extra 20 minutes for everything. I have no answers. Sorry hun. Another inaccurate perception is that dinner could be on table at 6:00 p.m.. Reality is that sometimes Ben has to make his own dinner. And as much as I hate frozen/boxed dinners, Hate, hate, hate, them, I may serve them when desperate and be grateful for them. Thanks for putting up with me honey! XOXO

the therapist is brilliant....just kidding. i know what you mean though. those unrealistic expectations can be real trouble. probably by now i have squashed everyone of wades that he had at one time for me.
Amen to both statements. I used to think that Jeremiah just had a selective memory when he would say I'm always late. I realize now that I'm the one with the selective memory, cherishing the few on-time moments. Oh well.
what? boxed dinners are the BEST! We don't even know what homecookin' is anymore.
Are you trying to tell me Jeromy's opinion does matter? Surely not when I'm in the kitchen though, right?
Hey! Katie (Barney) Kolowich here. Heard you had a blog and found you! It's great to see what you and Ben are up to. We are probably moving to Salt Lake for Adam's law school this summer so maybe we can see you guys more often.
