It's official! We are going to Germany!
We bought our nonrefundable tickets. There is no backing out now. Wiley will miss the last month of Kindergarten, but Ben and I will just team teach the letters x and y. He he.
I've also discovered that it is challenging to get a two year old to pose for passport pictures.

Can we come? How fun!!!
I am jealous. I LOVED Germany. Which part are you guys going to? How long will you be there?
I am so excited for you! We lived just outside of Munich when we actually moved there but the summer before Adi was born Mike lived/worked just outside of Frankfurt - I came to visit for a couple weeks and fell in love. The wine fields, sunflower fields and of course the Reine are the most beautiful/memorable things to me from that trip. Oh, you will love it - so much to see {I hope Ben doesn't have to work too much} I am sure Ben is in 7th heaven if he is anything like Mike! Be sure to visit a couple beergartens for me but keep the saurkraut for yourselves! {haha}
I want more details!
can we come visit?
Wow!!! Have fun!
That is so exciting! Did you know that I took a year of German. Please don't ask me for any help though...I failed the course!
We will be near Frankfurt. And yes Ben does have to work, but luckily we have no other responsibilities, and will spend our nights and weekends doing the tours. Yeah, we are so excited.
So exciting. Can't wait for all the good details when we get together next week. Let me know what day is good. I think we are good anyday.!!
Aren't passports for tiny people fun? Celeste looks like a blob in her passport photos. At least we got her to look straight at the camera! I think it funny that she'll be able to use this passport for 5 years. She is one-month old in the picture.
We're going to Germany too. Near Stuttgart, where my brother-in-law and his family are living. When are you going? We're going in April.
Is this trip a vacation or what? We need to get together again.
The envy is just oozing out of me. You guys are going to have the most amazing time. If we find cheap tickets we'll try and come visit!
Awesome! I really loved Germany! The people were so friendly and helpful, and it felt like everyone spoke English! (Great because I know maybe 10 words in German!)
When do you go? How long will you stay? Check out Rotenburg, such a cute little town!
The luau is about a week away! Did you catch my email address on your mom's birthday post?
Is this an extended vacation (are you moving there) or is this just a vacation?
We are only there for 6 weeks. Ben will be doing an internship in Frankfurt.
Oh I'm so excited to hear from you!!! Finally we have contact!
And I'm even more excited for you guys to be heading our way. When do you come? how long do you stay....and when will you be coming to visit us in Switzerland! Excited to see you all! xoxo kenzie and fam
Congrats! That is so much fun! Your children will be so cultured and well-rounded! I want to come visit you! Got room for 2 squirmy munchkins and 2 really tall people? Ha ha.
